Below is a letter for the releasing of DOTA 2. The letter could be a rumor because it's almost end of august and valve hasn't posted any more updates for the releasing of DOTA 2 to the gaming public. Lets just wait and hope that it will be released soon.
Welcome to the Dota 2 update for the week of July 18th 20011. The first story of the day is, Valve mentions Dota 2 officially in a news post and it says its coming out soon. Second story is, Could dota 2 feature a 6 vs 6 player mode screenshots says possibly but logic says most probably not. Third and the biggest story, A DOTA 2 tournament letter sent out to a Chinese dota team has been leaked and uploaded online. Its not only an invitation but it would probably be a live stream of the dota 2 tournament happening at gamesCOM.
Valve Officially Mentions DOTA 2
Valve officially mentions DOTA 2 in a very rare instance they posted a new post on their steam website announcing just basic optimization of their distribution nothing huge but at the end they say that they will import more and more content and will be delivered using the new system and soon DOTA 2 will be delivered using the same system. It would be releasing in the forth quarter of the year. Let see if valve upholds that release date. I am really excited for this DOTA 2 releasing. Owning!
Dota 2 Features 6 vs 6 Mode
Could Dota 2 feature a 6v6 player mode. A news article Heading said that "SCREENSHOTS REVEALS DOTA 2 FEATURES 6V6 MODE ". I almost pissed in my pants as i said leaked "SCREENSHOTS" but when i looked into it was just servers screenshots and is not exiting at all. The pics shows that the is server 12/12. This might be a 6v6 player match or the 2 extra slots are for the observer. No conformations yet. The most valuable information that the pic reveals is that: it is the Valve dota server 18. This means that dota 2 beta will be available soon for the public because why would they need so many server if its only Valve employees.
